Udinese's Antonio Di Natale targets 150 Serie A goals

Having hit his century in February, the 2010-11 top-scorer is eager to carry on finding the back of the net and is buoyed by his club's positive start to the new campaign

Udinese captain Antonio Di Natale admits his aim is to reach 150 goals in Serie A, but said the focus was on his team's survival this season.

Di Natale has already struck four goals in five games in 2011-12 having finished as the league's top-scorer for the past two campaigns.

The 33-year-old reached his century in a 2-0 league win against Sampdoria in February, but he is aiming even higher.

"My dream is to hit 150 goals in Serie A, I would move past many great champions," Di Natale is quoted as saying by La Repubblica.
"However, we [Udinese] have to think about getting 40 points as this league is a strange one.

"We have started well compared to the same time last year.

"But, the team is young and we know our limits."

Udinese take on Atalanta in Serie A on Sunday and they are currently joint top of the league with Juventus on 11 points from five matches.
