Celtic midfielder Biram Kayal signs new four-year deal

The Israeli arrived from Maccabi Haifa last summer and impressed the club's fans and staff in his first campaign with the Bhoys, making 40 appearances and scoring twice

Celtic midfielder Biram Kayal has signed a new deal with the Scottish outfit that will see him remain at the club until the summer of 2015.
The Israeli made a great impression on the Bhoys’ fans in his inaugural season at Celtic Park after arriving at the Glasgow club last summer from Maccabi Haifa.

Kayal has so far made 40 appearances in a Celtic shirt, scoring twice in the process and is delighted to be staying on with the side for the long-term.
"I'm very happy to sign this new contract with Celtic," Kayal said on the club’s website.
"I came to Celtic last season and I've enjoyed it very much. I feel at home here and I want to be at the club for a long time."
"The fans have been magnificent and I want to thank them all for their support. I will do everything for the club and the manager to achieve success," he added..
"It was the manager who wanted me here and I want to achieve things for him, the club and all our supporters."
