Inter's Julio Cesar targets return from injury against Catania

The goalkeeper is back in Milan and in confident mood as he continues his recovery with his club side in an attempt to be available for the weekend match in Sicily

Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar claims he could be back in between the sticks in Saturday's Serie A clash at Catania.

The Brazil international returned to Milan from international duty earlier than expected after he suffered a thigh injury in their 1-0 friendly win over Costa Rica on Friday.

However, he believes the outlook is good as he takes precautionary measures ahead of the weekend league action.

"I am fine, I asked to come back early not to risk further injury, but now I hope to recover this week so I can be there against Catania," the goalkeeper told Inter Channel.
"I am here and I am available."

Inter are currently 17th in the standings following the 3-0 home loss to Napoli in their last match.
