Joachim Low: Euro 2012 will not just be about Germany & Spain

The DFB coach has warned not to underestimate England, France and Netherlands in Poland and Ukraine next year, as he sees difficult opposition en route to potential success

Joachim Low has rejected suggestions Euro 2012 will be dominated by Germany and Spain, with the current DFB national team boss also listing England, France and the Netherlands as contenders for the title.

Germany finished their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign with a 100 per cent win record after beating Belgium 3-1 on Tuesday, form which has put them amongst the favourites to taste success in Poland and Ukraine next year.

Spain enjoyed similar success in Group I as they won all eight of their qualifiers, with Vicente del Bosque's side also tipped to retain their European title.

However, Low has warned that the other contenders who have qualified should not be written off before the competition starts in 2012.

Speaking to Ansa, Low said: "There is no certainty that it will all be just Germany and Spain during the tournament.

"The Netherlands, England and France are also among the favourites. We will have to clear many hurdles, not just Spain."
