The Argentine was pleased with his team's victory over Chievo on Sunday, and feels the Giuseppe Meazza side will still be a force to be reckoned with this season
Inter captain Javier Zanetti has voiced his opinion that the Coppa Italia holders can still achieve great things this season in the wake of their 1-0 Serie A win at home over Chievo on Sunday afternoon.Claudio Ranieri's men have been struggling to find their best form in the opening months of the 2011-12 campaign, but are slowly getting their confidence back after wins over Lille in the Champions League and against the Verona-based side at the weekend.
"This a group that is capable of doing great things, and we think this every game. We're working on our solidity, and we must prevent the opposing teams from doing damage to us," Zanetti told Sky Sport Italia.
"The victory was important in not letting the standings weigh on us too heavily. Inter deservedly won, although we had to suffer until the end against a Chievo team that attacked.
"We still hadn't been able to win at Giuseppe Meazza, so this match was also important in that regard."
Inter have climbed to 16th spot in the Serie A table following the weekend's results. They have collected seven points from as many games.
